Sue Bishop

Life Coach

Coaching offers a safe space where clients are supported to navigate change and encouraged to achieve their goals.

The coaching process helps people to find direction and purpose and unlock their potential.

I aim to bring clarity of thought, kindness and humour to meetings with my clients.

Sessions can take place face to face in Wymondham, near Norwich, or over Zoom.

About Me

I worked in the voluntary sector for 35 years, for Scope, Mencap and most recently for YMCA Crewe, as Deputy CEO. My background is in HR and Governance; I have a L5 qualification in Professional Coaching and am a member of the Association for Coaching.

I have three grown up sons and live in Norfolk with my husband.

Much of my work is with charities, supporting new managers to become inspiring leaders, who can articulate their vision and empower their teams.

I also coach clergy spouses who have particular challenges, dealing with competing priorities, moving communities, changing careers and supporting their families, all whilst living "over the shop".

I am passionate about coaching women who are facing changes in their lives or women looking to change an aspect of their life, but are unsure how to start. Whilst any changes can be challenging, I'd love to help you embrace new experiences and find a direction of travel that brings you joy.

I found talking with Sue helped me get my thoughts in order, to think that what I wanted to do could actually be possible. I was inspired to take manageable steps towards my goal.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions would I need?

We would start with a free session - just so you could decide if coaching is right for you - and then have as many or as few sessions as you wanted.

How long is a session?

We would meet for about an hour.

How often would we meet?

This depends on what your circumstance are and what your goal is. It would probably be between every two weeks and every two months.

What sort of areas have your clients wanted to talk about?

I have worked with people who have faced redundancy, some have changes in their family (eg children leaving home), others are finding their way in a new role at work, some want to improve relationships with colleagues. Clients decide what their goal is, then we explore together how to achieve that goal.

How much does a session cost?

I would like coaching to be affordable for anyone who would benefit from it! The cost would be discussed at our first meeting (when you make a decision about whether to go ahead) and there is no charge for that initial meeting.

Can coaching take place in the evenings or at weekends?

I am quite flexible and we will find a time that suits you.
